The Jay Godfrey Gallery was an enchanting high energy show of Jewel Colors, Texture and Textile play with splashes of Leather and perfectly placed slanted slits!! Beautiful models posed in gorgeous Emerald Green, Navy and Sapphire Blue, Purple, Maroon and Blush Champagne pieces. Those pieces consisted of one piece jump suits, cocktail dresses, blouses, knee length a line skirts and mermaid cut gowns with ruffles that highlighted the models shoulders and décolleté. The finishing touches of accessories where Chunky Gold statement pieces of jewelry, thin scarves and neutral multi tone wedge ankle boots with the heels cut out. Lisa Nguyen kept the models looking sexy and fun with dramatic triangular geometric cat eyes, low chignon and nude lips. I must say the 2016 New York Fashion Week Jay Godfrey Gallery Show was delightful and the perfect mixture of Delicate Feminine Edge! I cannot wait to attend his show again!! Editor and Chief Amanda Aponte even had the privilege of briefly conversing with Mr. Godfrey! Of course he was polite and kind. Be on the lookout for his newest designs.
